Barbara Heskins Davis of the Land Conservancy of NJ made a presentation to the Teaneck Planning Board on July 18, 2019 of her draft Open Space and Recreation Plan report. Since then the Planning Board leadership has steadfastly ignored requests from PB members and the general public to have the Planning Board discuss and act on the Davis’ authored Open Space and Recreation Plan, the final version of which was made available to the PB in October 2019

Davis’ presentation in July 2019 was a triumph. Everyone who saw it said so!
This video of the entire presentation and the Q & A which followed was shot by a resident and placed on You Tube in October 2021. It offers interested Teaneck residents 1 & 1/4 hour of a true environmental professional describing an open space and recreation plan that will knock your socks off!
The final 2019 OSRP documents (dated October 31 2019) can be found on the Township website at Click Here.  However, the Town website apparently does not include (at least TTT can find it) the 2007 OSRP – also authored by Davis – which was approved by the Planning Board on November 8, 2007. ( To see the Town’s communication to Green Acres of the PB approval  of the 2007 OSRP Click Here).  The absence of the earlier document is especially problematic since Chairman Bodner has repeatedly stated that the review of the latest (2019) OSRP currently being conducted by new Town Planner, Elizabeth Leheney, is to consist of a comparison between the 2007 and 219 Davis documents.
