Once Teaneck Residents and the Fair Share Housing Center filed their briefs on 1/28/2021 seeking integrated affordable with market-rate housing at KRE’s townhouse development, everything else fell in line. 23 days later the developers sent the plaintiffs the initial drawings of such an integrated development – thereby contradicting Teaneck elected officials who had claimed such integration was financially and architecturally impossible. Design and engineering improvements then preceded agreement among all four plaintiffs and defendants which resulted in Judge Christine Farrington consolidating the cases and issuing the agreed consent order of remand that follows

To complete the process whereby the Planning Board changed the developer’s site plan to the new one, the revised plan was described to the PB in a “Whispering Woods” hearing on 6/10/2021 ad finally memorialized on 6/24/2021.
