Teaneck Adopts Master Plan Element – Fair Share Housing

On February 28, 2019 the Teaneck Planning Board adopted a Fair Share Housing Plan for its Master Plan in order to meet its promised and Court-certified agreement with the Fair Share Housing Center.
In this Post we provide below the reader with both the entire document authored by Planner Preiss that was adopted by the Planning Board and a video of most of the hearing (2/28/2019) where that Planning Board decision was taken. Official Minutes of that meeting can be found at click here

For the Housing Element and Fair Share Plan: click below. You will see where the Town  (on p.7) commits that in all new construction projects, it will “integrate [the affordable units] with the market units” if possible. (Teaneck currently is not keeping that commitment.)
