Breaking News: We just been sent the last List of Teaneck ballots the County’s Board of Elections had received as of late afternoon, Monday, November 2- election eve. No more ballot lists from the County are expected!
If you still need to send your ballot – it is best do it at the County’s Special Ballot Drop Box at Teaneck’s Muni Bldg by Tues 11/3 at 7pm.
Use this post to find out who among 2020 registered Teaneck voters had sent in or delivered their mail-in-ballots to the Bergen County Board of Elections (BoE) between October 4 & Monday evening November 2. This information has been provided to the administrators of Teaneck Transparency by the BoE pursuant to an OPRA request. The # of Teaneck voters’ ballots received & listed here is more than 19,575 ballots – nearly 7.5K more than were in the ballot-received list the County had sent us at the end of last week.
There is a change in this new list. It is organized alphabetically only by last name. You can probably best search on the ballot-list document below by searching for the last name of the voters about whose ballot status you want information. (However, if the first name of the voter you are looking for is likely to be more rare, you can search on that name as well. Similarly, it might be quickest to search by street name and/or address.)
Simply click twice on the file title (in blue) below – and when the readable file emerges, hit control/F or however your device allows you to find a word in the file – and type in the voter’s name or address in the box which appears.

Was your vote received?
Are working to get your friends and neighbors out to vote? If so, you may want to check to see whether voters on your street have gotten their ballots in. Then, after you have gone to the file in blue above, hit control/F (or however your device allows you to find something in a pdf) and type out the name of the street as it appears on the voter list file. You can work your way right down the street.
One more thing – the if you or a voter you know has just gotten a letter from the County saying your ballot has been rejected because your signature did not match the county’s reference signature, try to reach someone in the County Clerk’s office for last minute instructions. Call either 201-336-7020 or 201-336-7061. The problem can be cured! but HURRY!
