On 3/5/2020 Teaneck’s Board of Adjustment meeting included a 5th hearing on applicant AUCC’s proposed recreation center on Oakdene Ave. Most of this nearly 1 hour & 20 minute hearing – all of which is found in the video below – focused on Q&A’s between the APPLICANT’S ARCHITECT and the Board & public. (At the onset and end are discussions about hearing logistics and setting future meeting dates).  A transcript of this 3/5/20 hearing should be available in the near furture and will be available on this post.

The next date for continuation of the hearings on this application is April 2 in Council Chambers. The meeting will beginh at 7 pm – however this application will be one of several to be heard by the Board on this date

Earlier:
On 2/20/2020 Teaneck’s Board of Adjustment special meeting was the 4th hearing on that  AUCC- proposed recreation center. Most of the hearing focused on traffic & parking w/ brief discussion of a revised architect’s plan at the very end of the hearing.
That 2/20/2020 hearing was preceded by a Board hearing on 2/6/2020 at which the applicant’s engineer/architect, Calisto Bertin presented a revised plan and drawings for the outside areas of the  proposed center and was followed by the applicant’s architect describing the proposed drawings of the internals of both the prior school and the proposed swimming pool.
This post first provides transcripts of both of these hearings (2/6 and 2/20) and then 2 videos of this most recent (2/20) hearing.

It runs about an hour. The second video is of the questions posed to the expert by the public (2+ hours) with the architects explanation of the revised architecture plan in the final several minutes.
