As discussed in a prior post on this website, the proof positive that there was a municipal contract between the Nishuane Group and the Township, approved unanimously by the Council on July 1 and signed that day by the Nishuane managing partner and Teaneck’s mayor. The characteristics of that contract clarify that this contract was in violation of state and Teaneck codes because a contribution of $900 had been made to a joint-candidate committee, Moving Teaneck Forward (Orgen, Pagan and Schwartz) whose chair and treasurer is Gerald Reiner, Jr.
This copy of the contract was obtained via a Town clerk’s office response to an Open Public Records Act (OPRA) request which came with the following headline:
