A Council Retreat – The idea of a retreat was discussed for 8 months but its time and place was announced only several days before it happened.

On September 6, Council went on a retreat (across the street to Holy Name Hospita). And at this retreat, Council conducted business. An audio (but no video) was made — but nothing about what happened at the retreat is available on the Township website.

However TTT treasurer Chuck Powers did record the meeting – and the actual Council discussion and votes are what he has placed on You Tube.
In the first section, Township Planner  Preiss told Council how it could create a new entity – a redevelopment authority – that would radically change and concentrate power into the Council itself to control everything about the Town’s future development and land use. At the end of the discussion, Council voted unanimously to tell its attorney to develop an ordinance to create the new redevelopment entity. Every resident in town should be aware of this proposal and thus needs to watch this:

In the second section, Councilman Pruitt used a Presentation he had developed in consultation with other Council members to discuss what Township issues should take
priority and what to do about them. Very interesting information emerges – about, for example, the status of the Route 4  billboard, what is happening with the Route 4 Greenbelt designation, what is happening (or not happening) with Rodda Center repair, etc.  This video can be found if you
